Challenging the Terrain Management System in the Simpson Desert
Watch our engineers push the Everest 4WD’s Terrain Management System during ‘torture testing’ in the world’s largest sand dune desert. Sand is one of the toughest terrains to manage in an off-road vehicle. Soft and shifting, compacted into deep ruts, it gives our engineers plenty of opportunities to push the system to its limits and test its ‘torque on demand’ capabilities to deliver maximum traction.

Made for your world
When you build an SUV to be sold in different countries, the best way to test its capability and drivability is to do it in the real world. Our engineers have taken the Everest 4WD around the region to test it under the different terrain, climate and driving conditions in the countries where it will live. Like yours.

The Everest design journey
Our designers discuss how the Everest 4WD concept vehicle design came about. Three years from clay model to reality, the final design concept has been driven by our customers’ desire for a tough and highly-capable off-road vehicle that also looks stylish and delivers a premium level of sophistication inside and out.

The toughest place on earth for an engine
Our Arizona Proving Ground is the ideal place to relentlessly test the Everest 4WD’s engine capabilities. With extremes of temperature and altitude, the conditions are perfect for our engineers to push the engine past its limits, again and again. As they say, they’re not there “to baby it”. They are there to test it to the extreme so it’s ready for anything it will face in the real world.
